General Comment This song gives hope out there for everyone whom has been hurt in the past. Anti-suicide song. I heard Stipe wrote this for Kurt Cobain, but that's only what I heard. This song makes me cry at times too. The music video goes so well with the song. It's just a reassurance kind of song saying "Everybody does hurt, so don't think it's just you. The end with Stipe singing "Hold on Is very beautiful, and in the video, that being the only thing he is just beautiful.
Let Me In is about Kurt Cobain. This song is supposedly what Kurt was listening to when he killed himself. TasChiBandGirl This song was written by the drummer Bill Berry, with the intention of reaching out to people on the verge of suicide. It was apparently written about no specific person, hence "everybody". And Stipe was probably the closest member to Cobain, so it seems very unlikely that this was written for him, 2 years before his suicide.

General Comment I think this song is a big eye opener for a lot of people including me in that at the end of the day we are all mortal meaning we all feel the same, hurt the same and indeed are the same, to deny pain is to deny yourself the freedom of your own emotions, we can't keep things bottled up inside ourselves all the time because that is exactly what causes silent ticking time bombs in society imploding.
If only more people were in touch with their emotions then so much internal conflict could be avoided. General Comment Please tell me how in the world R.
The message is clear. And Mac Miller is dropping this philosophy on a particular addressee who reads as if it may be his romantic interest. Basically what this conversation is meant to represent is a notion akin to the two of them being in love for eternity. And considering that the vocalist is in fact deceased at the time this song came out causes the lyrics to have an even more-profound effect.
Name Optional. June 22, January 23, I was singing this song and I didn't even realize that the lyrics were so heavy and emotional until after the fact. And that's what kind of brings us to this moment…I remember being in the hospital and listening to the song and it was about a week after I had been in the hospital and I was finally awake.
And I just remember hearing back the songs I had just recorded and thinking, "If there's ever a moment where I get to come back from this, I want to sing this song. If nobody's listening Chorus: Anyone, please send me anyone Lord, is there anyone? I need someone Anyone, please send me anyone Lord, is there anyone? I need someone Verse 2: I used to crave the world's attention I think I cried too many times I just need some more affection Anything to get me by Pre-Chorus: A hundred million stories And a hundred million songs I feel stupid when I sing Nobody's listening to me Nobody's listening I talked to shooting stars But they always get it wrong I feel stupid when I pray Why the fuck am I praying anyway?
I need someone Anyone, please send me anyone Oh, Lord, is there anyone? This content is created and maintained by a third party, and imported onto this page to help users provide their email addresses.
