Why won golbat evolve

If you want to get the National Dex, you must defeat the Elite 4. Oh wow, damn, I hadn't thought of that either. I want my Crobat, too, though!!!! I had exactly the same problem. Although this did occur to me, in HG you can evolve Togekiss without the national dex cant you? And if you traded a crobat from Ruby it would work, so why not here?

Yeah you can get Weaviles and other evos too that's weird. I honestly didn't think evolving my Golbat would work until I beat the Elite Four, but lo and behold, it started trying to evolve much earlier, only to leave me disappointed. I understand that they didn't want to tamper with the original in the Pokedex and I don't blame them , but I would've much rather have had Golbat not even try to evolve than getting teased like that.

Kikaito plush. I thought it strange when my Golbat stopped evolving when it was going to evolve. I looked up why it stopped on Gamefaqs and still was upset by this. It did ruin some of the game though.

Plushies videos. Satoshi Ookami. As a player, I would want to enjoy the remake as close as possible so I would leave this feature there. I was SO frustrated when my shiny Golbat couldn't evolve into a Crobat. It was such a pain to get that green Golbat to evolve. This should not have happened because you could train a Chansey to high happiness and have to keep it in your E4 party when it might not be much good.

I knew nothing about this feature because I'd always have the National Pokedex on file before even trying. This sounds like another issue with the Gen 1 remake in general.

I don't know, I never really got why they did it. I'm glad HeartGold and SoulSilver allowing evolution of the Pokemon that evolve by learning a certain move showed Game Freak learned their lesson. If it levels up with enough friendship before then, the evolution screen will appear, but the game will automatically cancel it before it evolves.

Other Answers. The only reason his zubat wouldnt evolve is if its holding an everstone or if he keeps hitting the "b" button while its trying to.
